LOVE how clean your website is!!! It is more professional to NOT display the recommended videos after your business video has completed.
Here’s a YouTube embed hint:
Once you are on the single video view for your YouTube video, click Share, Embed, “show more” (for more options)
Then you can view the checkboxes to TURN OFF/UNCHECK “Show suggested videos..”
Short Story with a Moral
Our daughter loved to breed Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches at around 6 years old (don’t ask, parents do a lot for their kids) and we created a video of her. After we uploaded it to YouTube and then played it, we saw the ‘recommended’ videos and well, there was a photo of a scantily clad woman in one of the recommendations – she said “Mommy, why is there a picture of a woman’s butt on my video?”. Ugh.
The point of the story: you cannot control what others put on YouTube, but you CAN control what your users see if you embed the video on your website.
I can’t find the video right now because we created a channel to protect our daughter’s name (10+ years ago) and I cannot readily find it – but when I do, I will post it below.
