I was recently (and proudly) involved in a team Social Media Marketing effort to help a non-profit advance their online presence using Social Media. We were brought together by The Change Challenge initiative, where the principles gathered 16 social media advisors in the metro Atlanta area and matched them with 4 non-profits. We were competing to see who could create the most successful and most sustainable (after our departure) social media campaign for their respective non-profit.
Final results are not in yet. We started in August 2011 and are ending up in early March 2012. We couldn’t have made it this far without a full team effort on both sides.
If you have the time, please listen to our presentation to their audience informing them how to best utilize social media for their Injury Prevention community. This was created for Emory Center for Injury Control (ECIC) and our team presented at a ‘Brown Bag’ event last week. @EmoryCIC (Twitter) or EmoryCIC (Facebook)
