That’s my goal for the year. Meet my latest client, Happy Healthy Caregiver, Elizabeth Miller. I want to surround myself with like-minded individuals, don’t you?
I’m going to brag on a client I just helped out. I didn’t create the business plan, the color scheme, the content or the ideas, but I helped her get over the technical hill. That’s what I do – I solve technical web hurdles.
Sometimes you’re just so smart, but that ONE THING keeps you from launching. Elizabeth Miller is that person. Her enthusiasm for her blog, her organizational skills and determination to make a difference in the world just resonates, but she didn’t have the web experience to get her vision out of her brain and onto a website. She started with Savvy Sandwicher blog created for Caregivers that are “sandwiched” between caring for their children and caring for their aging parents. If you’ve cheated and already clicked on her blog link above, you’ll notice that she’s launched a new website “Happy Healthy Caregiver“. This is similar in content and goals, but adds another element: accountability.
She has a membership subscription forum where caregivers can share their journeys and questions with others who have gone through or are going through what they are facing. Caregivers are givers of care. They care for others first. But… so many times, they forget to take care of themselves first and their health starts to fail from stress, not eating right, late nights or… whatever.
Elizabeth understands. She helps. She’s a caregiver herself, caring for a family and a parent in a senior community. BUT she’s recognized her situation and now works out regularly (we work out with A&A Wellness [website|facebook]), prepares her healthy lunches for work, shops for healthy alternatives and above all, cares enough to help others. Those are the type of people I want to hang out with.
What type of people are you going to hang out with this year?
Elizabeth will also be speaking at an A&A Wellness Seminar coming up soon in March – I’ll be there – hope you will be too!
Please send me only referrals for those in the healthcare industry or owners of companies (not in the HC industry) that are on the path to healthy living – it gives us something to talk about.
